Gordon Macdonald

Gordon joined RoslinCT as a Quality Leader, bringing over 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 23 years in senior management roles. He has a strong background in analytical chemistry, laboratory management, quality assurance, and quality management across contract/service, commercial, and clinical manufacturing and packaging environments.

Before joining RoslinCT, Gordon held leadership positions across a broad range of service and product-based pharmaceutical companies. He has extensive experience in supporting both MHRA (GMP, GLP, GCP) and FDA regulatory inspections and is a Qualified Person under EU Directive 2001/83/EC, granted through permanent provision (Category A) since November 2001.

Gordon’s expertise spans the design and operation of quality systems compliant with GMP and GLP, as well as the certification of clinical and commercial medicinal products. His experience covers a wide range of pharmaceutical dosage forms, including aseptic products, biologicals, solid oral forms, medical devices, creams, and liquids.
